Weigh In

It’s either very late or very early for most of you right about now. I was up and wanted to at least document my weigh in for Saturday April 21st 2012. I’m happy to report that I’m down another 3 lbs. Oh Yeah! I worked very hard this past week. Counting my calories, drinking my water and riding my bike. It paid off for me. I will continue to keep doing what I’m doing. I would be happy to lose 3 lbs. every week. I can’t really describe how awesome that would be. Most of you that struggle with your weight know exactly what I mean. I do want to mention that I find myself wanting a snack now and then. The only thing different is now, I look at what it will cost me in terms of calories and fat. Vs. the enjoyment I might get from having it. More often than not I find myself saying “It’s just not worth it!” So I think I’m finally getting the hang of this health business.

Oh Yeah!

I think the same way about the enjoyment of food. I’ve given up eating ice cream and drinking soda. OH YEAH!

Way to go Cubs. Ice Cream and Soda. I’m not that into ice cream , but soda is a big deal for me. I miss my Coca-Cola. Every now and then I have a diet coke. It’s not the same, but it gets me by.

GREAT JOB!!! I wish I could stay as focused at you. I am running in too problems where is just get burnt out on counting cals and then when I eat at other peoples houses it’s hard to count there and then I cannot find a lot of things to eat, maybe you could share your tips on staying focused and tell us some of the meals you eat during the week. Thanks for all your motivation keep up the good work.

Thanks, I know what you mean. I struggle all the time with my food choices. Other people that are not counting their calories don’t understand that they can’t just throw together some meal and feed you. I would say that most people have no idea how many calories are in what they are eating. You just need to teach yourself the value of what it is you want to eat. Then adjust the amount accordingly. For example If you like pizza, Like I do. I have to limit myself to 1 slice, not 4 or 5 slices. Or if I go to a party that has a big bowl of chips with a bowl of dip. I can only have a few. Like maybe 5 chips. I can’t just sit there for an hour eating chips and dip the whole time. I will show you some of my meals and give you some shopping tips so you might have an easier time figuring it out for yourself.
